As implied by the name, this composition is a small and very simple homage to the past. The song begins with a little motif reminiscent of the folk tradition of the late 60’s and early 70’s. The theme is introduced from the beginning. This is repeated throughout the piece but the melodic and harmonic elements undergo small changes throughout, adding different feeling tones to the sound before returning to the opening section.
