This original composition, created for piano solo, begins in nocturne style and conveys a haunting sense of foreboding. This gives way to a changing set of themes and melodies interwoven to form a feeling of mounting tension and expectation of something awful yet to happen. The later rhythms are used to intensify this sense of unease. However, at the end, these feelings dissipate and the music drifts off into the dark night.
