This is the eighth track of my new album “Somewhere Between Light and Sound”. We have the most beautiful oak tree in our garden. It is majestic and provides us with much needed shelter from the wind in winter and the sun in mid-summer. The squirrels love it. The birds provide us with constant displays of colour and their songs are utterly enchanting.

We have had many happy family memories in the shade of the old oak tree. This composition is a musical appreciation of this gentle giant.
