This is the ninth track on my new album “Somewhere between Light and Sound“. This song is a musical poem about the rugged terrain of a mountain landscape, typical of the Scottish Highlands. Although it is essentially a piece for piano solo, a string accompaniment comes into play, along with a whistle, to create an atmosphere of inhospitable, untouched wilderness. It has a distinct Celtic feel and the overall tone is both harsh and fragile at the same time.
